    • 2009 May 31

OG, you need to spend more time buying veggies & fruits and in the kitchen…Can’t tell the difference between a lemon and an orange? :-)

      me: Ha..ha…ha.. Hi-fi, Bones.

      • 2009 May 31

            me: What is sathukudi?

            • 2009 May 31

sathukudi is a orange like fruit which is used for making juice…… :P
It is green in color…….. :P

me: I think you mean Sweet Lime. Even that is Yellow or Green and shaped like Orange. This is clearly Lemon. :D

            • 2009 May 31

there is no way that you find them to be orange like.. Og no way at all !!

We were in California during March and April, last year and the weather was not very cold to my son’s standard but for us the mornings were chilly. Then we came to New Jersey and god, it was VERY cold over there. We are invited to come there during July-August, when the weather will be superb. People spend most of their time outdoors and everyone will be happy – no indoor fighting or unhappiness, it seems. They are the happiest days, they feel.

me: Fall is the best season.

I can sense your happiness from the photograph, Solilo. I too prefer lemon juice to Orance juice. The book looks interesting. Both you and Peanut must be sitting somewhere there!

me: Peanut playing and having lemonade and her parents near the bible :D

  15. 2009 May 31

    arrree wah!!!

i LOVE lemons!!! i drink nimboo paani at like midnight even! :D :D

    me: Midnight too? :D Margarita.

lol @ ur mood meter! hee!

i have collected so many books on cocktails n mocktails n smoothies…most recipes ask for fruits that i can’t find here in India. even when i ask at a supermarket, they gimme a “what language is she talking, she looks Indian” kinda look :| :|

    cranberries, blueberries, clementines…i know them by heart…coz i can’t find them :|

me: I am sure you will get it at some place. At least the frozen ones. I know for sure that you get Blueberries in Mumbai.

post snap of cocktail!!!! :D i cud see n feel drunk! :P

I used to love summers when i was in school– no books and full time free.
Now i dont, all the seasons are same now :(

me: The only season I dislike is Winter. I always have. I love Autumn, Summer, Spring in that order.

Only thing i like summers are for mangoes, here i get pakistani mangoes, their taste is awesome and i just love them :)

me: Mangoes are yum. Also, all the Summer fruits.

  31. 2009 May 31

Actually, its 50 degrees here (Celcius) so I have the biggest claim to that cocktail…

    me: 50 C?! And here I thought we were burning at 90 F (32 C)

    • 2009 June 1

Yeah, it’s so hot that if I leave gum in the car, it turns to biscuit.

      • 2009 June 1

But on a diff. note, I read that even weekend drinking could ruin the abs that you are spending weeks working towards…

So please excuse me… As it is, last weekend was Hayaa’s b’day so we had a corona night :( All the beer just went and accumulated in my paunch.

  32. 2009 May 31

me: *Hopping over to Indyeah’s to read the comment while sharpening my dagger.*

  38. 2009 June 1

Here lemon also comes in the size of oranges:), I am the odd obne out here, dont like orange much:) prefer cherries and since this is the season I am relishing them:)

    me: I prefer cherries too.

  39. 2009 June 1

When I was young, in my grandmother’s home, we used to have such big lemons – like oranges. We planted those seeds in our garden too, but we changed houses before we could get a fruit from the plant! After that I never saw big lemons. So, you are very lucky!!

    Destination Infinity

me: Lime is small, Green and sour. Lemons are big, Yellow and tangy-sweet. We get both here.
In India we mostly use Lime that are green or yellowish-green.
