Tranquility of a lovely sunset

Sometimes we search for serenity everywhere when it is right in front of our eyes. This is yesterday’s Sunset from our lawn and four lines I penned down.

The dusk crosses the threshold leisurely
Stumbling on the Crimson and Purple palette,
It creates a beautiful medley
And embraces all in the serene coverlet.

Wow ! You sure have a ‘house with a view’! All I get to see is rooftops :( Indeed a big night for the Slumdog team at the Golden Globe awards!

Thanks IHM and Smitha. It is good to live in a small town away from the hustle and bustle of city still I don’t stop to enjoy such evenings. Now I wonder why :)

That’s a great picture and that is one brown stage :-) Didn’t really care much for the film, Rahman’s music was excellent. Good achievement for this lot. Now on to the oscars.

I live in a small town..not the typical America :) but am sure many in city can see it too. We are so busy with are routine life that we forget to appreciate such natural beauty right in front of our eyes.

Beautiful, Solilo! The sky looks like a cottonwool pandal/roof. The shades, god, no words to explain. I have saved the image. Thank you.
